Brighton and Hove Wellbeing Service
This service offers a variety of support and psychological therapies.
Waiting times are very low (a few weeks) to be seen.
Mental Health & Wellbeing Support
(uok.org.uk) UOK offer a range of different types of support from support with bereavement, to support with debt. You can self-refer to the main service who will support people to get to the right service or people can self-refer to any of the partners on the website.
Staying Well Brighton & Hove | UOK service
For people experiencing a crisis there is an open access service available in the evenings 7 days a week with staff (including a nurse) on site.
Sussex Mental Health Crisis Line
Together with Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust this line is available 24/7 and a text option – people can be referred onward to more support if needed.
Talk to your GP
If people feel able to approach their GP there is now a better offer at primary care level with Emotional Wellbeing Service (EWS) :: Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in most surgeries and the surgeries that don’t have EWS do have other options so if people do feel able to contact their GP there is help through their GP service with support and engagement.
